Terrorism is Terrorism, even in small ways

We found this recently, and thought it should be shared. This is an amazingly ridiculous way in which the innocent are being harassed, while the enemy continues to terrorize us in many, many ways.

One of the more common activities, largely in reaction to the greater scrutiny Middle-Eastern men get at airports, is to act suspiciously once on the airplane. This has led to a few news reports of passengers, and flight crew, being terrified to the point where they call for police help before landing. But what is being encountered here are young men pretending to be what they are often suspected of by airport security screeners. A form of ironic revenge. Technically, this is illegal, but no one has been able to make a case yet. But if some of this nonsense causes a passenger to have a heart attack, or instigates some violence on board, a heretofore ignored area of the war on terror will get more attention.

Why haven’t they been arrested and prosecuted for such behavior? Other regular, albeit stupid, people who thought they would play an insane joke, have been arrested for such activity. Is it that they are middle-eastern that gives them immunity?

In an opposite version of the “Boy Who Cried Wolf”, the authorities will fail to prosecute one of these idiots, resulting in one of them feeling confident enough to REALLY try something physically harmful.
The truth is, emotional and mental terrorism is still terrorism.
Once again, it is the failure of the authorities, who are charged to protect us, to utilize the EXISTING laws to curb terrorist behavior that will lead to more.
And, then they will wonder why?
We won’t.

DHS Needs to Recognize the Obvious

The Department of Homeland Security’s first order of business was to identify all the vulnerabilities to terrorism in the United States. As the list grows longer and longer, it has become increasingly apparent that there will never be sufficient resources to defend against all these potential threats, especially with the federal government’s mentality of throwing money at all problems.

Over the past year or so, more focus has been on figuring out how to use what is currently available to neutralize the most likely threats. The most obvious of the problems has been discovered to be not resources, but communication.

What can the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) do to capitalize on counter-terrorism efforts that work, and make them more efficient and effective?
The reliance on the mystically all-saving “technology” as a solution has become a “blind alley”. The real problems in providing truly effective homeland security are essentially communication issues.

As reported in March 2005, “First responders are not well aligned with each other, federal agencies are not well aligned with state agencies, and the armed forces are not well aligned with anyone.”

Many of these groups don’t have the ability to do a decent job by themselves in their own milieu. If DHS wants to protect the nation on a more encompassing scale, it needs to get everyone communicating and coordinating with each other, as well as creating at least one competent intelligence agency that the rest of the agencies and military can rely on for factual and timely information.

This has proven to be a very difficult concept to actually put into practice.
“Many of these bureaucracies equate communication with subordination. No one wants to become part of someone else’s empire. The FBI has long had those kinds of problems with state and local law enforcement agencies. Communication is more than exchanging phone numbers. Details like who must do what for who when there is a terrorism problem, have to be carefully worked out in advance.”

This kind of coordination has been very difficult to execute in the past.
“More futile and expensive efforts to develop hardware tools that vanquish terrorists, no doubt appear an easier path to pursue than getting everyone to communicate and cooperate.”

Sure, it always looks like an easy solution to throw money at some new device or computer program. But the real solution to our nation’s security in a time of war is the proper and complete coordination and communication of the existing agencies.

In other words, the concept of HUMINT has to be reasserted in our intelligence agencies on a management level as well as on a collection level. But, that seems obvious to anyone who isn’t impressed with expensive tools, toys, and gadgets.

But then, it is also obvious that the distribution of workload in the current web of federal agencies should be re-evaluated for reorganization.
Maybe even real change would come about if some of them were disbanded.

Another way to Defeat Terrorists

Can you imagine the profound effect it would have on our War on Terror if we could end our dependency on foreign oil?

There are 5 oil companies that have a monopoly on gasoline in America. One of them, Citgo, is owned by an announced enemy of the USA, Venezuela. It is obvious that the Federal Government is getting so many pay-offs from the oil companies that they will seek to maintain the gasoline monopoly to infinity. It is also obvious that those oil companies will seek to destroy any efforts to change the status quo.

Additionally, our sources tell us that the gasoline/oil monopolies plan to raise the price of gas to $5 per gallon within a couple of years. Already, they are putting out propaganda about how much Europeans have to pay for gas. Any nation that pays over a $1 a gallon, is run by a bunch of crooks that don’t care how the taxpayer suffers. There is proof, however, that if any real, rational, and possible attempt is made to thwart their plans, they will most assuredly, retaliate. That would result in lower prices – as a ploy – BUT ONLY FOR A SHORT TIME.

Now, there is a way for the citizen of this country to do something that will make gasoline available for 70 cents a gallon. At the same time, we will no longer be underwriting International Muslim Terrorism by funding the Muslim enemy nations through high oil prices.

How? Change. Simple.
And, it looks like if we all got behind it, with the Federal Governement leading the charge, we could accomplish it in less than a decade.

It’s been proven to work. Really!

An entire country changed its ways, and proved that the rest of us can do it too. Brazil is a leader in this altered gasoline strategy. It’s more than just a computer simulation or a laboratory test. An entire modern-day country is no longer dependent on foreign fuel sources.

• Pump new economic lifeblood into the US Automakers
• Allow us to embrace a more ecologically sustaining method of fuel production
  AND
• Most of all… end the cash flow going into the coffers of the Muslim oil producing nations.

We will be able to take our business elsewhere, back home!

Muslim Hypocrisy

America’s subversive left continues to bombard the public with propaganda that fraudulently proclaims: “Islam, religion of love.” Yet Muslim’s most arrogant and hate-filled mullahs don’t hesitate to spew out their psychopathic hatred of America and promises to annihilate our people and way of life.

Youssef Jamah, Palestinian Minister of Holy Sites, in an interview on Egyptian Television, stated: "The suicide bombings are a legitimate means through which the Palestinians fight the enemy. Their aim is to serve Allah, and through them, they fight for Allah and for the Islamic faith and homeland. The attacks are the command of Allah."

Sheikh Youssuf Kardawi (Albayan - Internet): "I believe that the Palestinian Jihad fighter who carries out suicide actions in Israel does not think about the murder of children and women, but rather goes to fight against Israel, its army and its forces. The suicide mission is the loftiest form of Jihad. We are talking about an heroic act of sacrifice and sanctification. The person who redeems his soul for Allah, sacrifices himself as a sacrifice for his religion and people, and fights the enemies of Allah with new weapons that fate awarded to the downtrodden, in order to fight with these means against the tyranny of the arrogant."

The Palestinian Council of Religious Leaders publicized a Fatwa (Al Iyyam), determining that "these acts of sacrifice are legitimate, and their legitimacy is derived from the Koran and Islamic law."

Khamad Almadavi, a mullah at the Al Aqsa Mosque, and the Chairman of the Islamic Appeals Court in Jerusalem (in an interview to a radio station in London): "the suicide attacks are commanded by the Koran and the command applies to every Muslim."

Sheikh Ahmad Yassin (Egyptian Television): "The fighters for Allah kill and get killed. Can there be bravery which is superior to that shown by a person who sacrifices himself for his homeland, in order to sow fear, defeatism, death, division and destruction amongst enemy ranks."

Sheikh Alshaibi, Head of the Faculty of Religious Studies, University Bin Saud (Alhayat): "The suicide missions are a legitimate act, and are included within the framework of the Jihad in accordance with Allah, if the intention of the person perpetrating it is pure. These actions are one of the most effective means of the Jihad. One of the most effective means against the enemies of the faith is to bring about disasters and attacks in their midst ... in other words, to cause killing and mutilation, and to sow panic in their midst. These actions strengthen the Muslims and their spirit, and breaks the morale of the enemies."

In the context of the propaganda, "information services" are broadcast to Palestinian children. Dramatic pleas from terrorist suicide bomber "martyrs", call out to their friends from paradise, and ask them to follow their path and join them in paradise as a suicide bomber.

AMERICA’S “LOYAL” MUSLIMS

When America offered home and freedom to millions of rabid Muslims, they became free of the chains that bound them by the tyrants who rule every Middle Eastern state. But the new Muslim immigrants were not freed from their pathological hatred of the western world. America did not free them from their lust for jihad against the United States. So-called Muslim-Americans seek to destroy America and from a safe and opulent base in the midst of America. Muslim’s American base is the same type of terrorist base as that defined by al-Qaeda terrorists. From that base they mean to destroy America.

Modern Muslims are true fanatics, they are not bound by any laws of humanity, nor do they exhibit human feelings. They are murderous beasts who must be eliminated before they have time to murder our families and those innocents least able to defend themselves. If America does not preemptively destroy them, they will surely destroy America.

Anti-Terror Operation, Zhawar Kili Valley, Afghanistan

On January 7, 2004, a group of helicopters took off from Kandahar Airport in Afghanistan. The three Marine CH-53 helicopters were each carrying 25 men of a Navy SEAL joint task force bound for the Zhawar Kili Valley. The joint task force was composed of a 17-man SEAL platoon, a 50-man Marine security detachment, 2 Air Force sergeants from the combat control team, 2 explosive ordinance disposal technicians, an Army chemical-biological specialist, a Navy linguist-interpreter, and 2 FBI agents.

The FBI agents had no real reason for being on the operation, since their stated purpose in Afghanistan was to collect evidence for trials of terrorists. The muslim-brainwashed FBI was seeking that evidence in violation of the Patriot Act, that denied terrorists’ show trials where the government would spend millions of dollars trying a terrorist while giving him weeks of free publicity and then lowering the national morale by releasing the terrorists.

The improvised company-sized SEAL SWAT team was bound for Zhawar Kili Valley, which is a long-term Taliban and al-Qaeda training and supply base. The Zhawar Kili Valley is studded with cave entrances lining the walls of the valley floor. Numerous “smart bombs” had been dropped in the valley without any affect. The SEAL SWAT team was on a Vietnam-style search and destroy mission.

The unit landed at the head of the valley, and began to sweep back down toward the mouth. They found over 70 sophisticated, inner-connected tunnel complexes, reinforced with steel I-beams and brickwork. The tunnels were over 3-500 yards deep. Inside the tunnels, they found neatly stacked boxes of tens of thousands of tons of ammunition and explosives. They also found tanks, artillery, anti-aircraft guns, and crew served weapons sufficient to equip 2 infantry divisions. Such equipment was sorely needed by the troops of the Northern Alliance, the only reliable American ally in Afghanistan.

Among the thousands of crates and millions of tons of ordinance, there were other facilities used by the terrorists. The tunnels were wired with electric lights and included classrooms, training facilities, and jailhouses. There were even safe-house accommodations, where stacks of passports, mounds of phony IDs, many bags of heroin, and stacks of freshly laundered clothes were found.

The huge terrorist training and logistics base was then, and is now, being used by al-Qaeda terrorists. In the Zhawar Kili Valley, al-Qaeda terrorists are trained, equipped, and given false documents and then filtered across the Pakistan border. The head of the valley is only three miles from the Pakistan border. Along the rim of the valley is a small village.

The Zhawar Kili Valley should have been occupied, and made into a base camp by a force, composed of a least 1-2 battalions of American Army or Marine infantry, and several special forces teams, as well as a couple of artillery batteries. Sniper teams and forward observers could have then moved out 3-5 miles in every direction to bring fire down on the al-Qaeda troops that use that valley. In the meantime, convoys of trucks and pack mules from America’s Northern Alliance allies could come into the valley and pick up the ordinance and equipment after American troops had picked over it.
The supplies in the Zhawar Kili Valley included hundreds of RPGs that should have been issued to every American squad and team in Afghanistan and Iraq. America could have saved nearly a billion dollars a year simply by using the ammunition, weapons, and equipment found in the Zhawar Kili Valley.

Of course, none of the above was done by the Centcom headquarters that commanded the SEAL SWAT team unit. Without even performing an adequate search for enemy documents and other intelligence information, the nervous SEALs and their protégés decided to blow up the entrances of most, but not all, of the caves. Naturally, al-Qaeda could easily blow the entrances back open for any cave they wanted to, while no doubt, thanking the Americans for not confiscating their supplies.

Heavy vehicle tire tracks running into the valley from the Pakistani border indicted that the Pakistani Army frequently hauled supplies into the Zhawar Kili Valley, in 18-wheelers with semi-trailers. Why weren’t those convoys ever ambushed?

When a few squads of al-Qaeda terrorists started to arrive in the area (totaling not more than 20-30 men) the SEAL SWAT team, although larger, well-armed and covering all approaches to the valley, got nervous and decided to bug out.
By January 14, 2004, there wasn’t an American to be found in the Zhawar Kili Valley. During those two weeks and thereafter, America wasted over $10 million of taxpayer money by dropping over 400,000 pounds of ordinance into the valley. The effort neither killed any enemy terrorists, nor effectively impeded use of the valley. Neither did they deny the enemy continued access to, and use of, the ordinance and equipment in the Zhawar Kili Valley.

The Zhawar Kili Valley Operation was very wasteful of American resources. Certainly, highly trained SEAL counter-terror forces were not required for the mission of inventorying and sealing in part of the enemy’s wealth in the Zhawar Kili Valley.
